Lee Chong Min is the Music Lecturer in the School of Church Music at Singapore Bible College and the conductor of the SBC Chorale and the SBC Singers. At the same time, he is also the Music Director of the Singapore Hallelujah Oratorio Society, the Johor Bahru Chorale and the Jakarta Festival chorus and the Artistic Director of the International Christian Choral Conductor Society, Bintulu Chinese Christian Music Association and the International Christian Festival Singers.


He has made frequent appearances as guest conductor and lecturer in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar, Taiwan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, China, Canada, and the United States.


Lee received his early musical training in Singapore and later in London under the tutorship of Lyndon Van de Pump for voice and studied conducting with George Hurst and also studied conducting under eminent teachers, Helmuth Rilling and Donald Neuen in USA.


He has conducted opera, symphony works, major oratorios and sacred compositions. The major works include the JS Bach's "Mass in B minor", "St. Matthew's  Passion", "German Requiem" by Brahms, the "C Minor Mass" and "Requiem" by Mozart, "Maria Theresa Mass" and "The Creation" By Haydn, "Messiah", "Dixit Dominus" by Handel and "St. Paul", "Elijah" and "Hymn of Praise" by Mendelssohn, "Missa Solemnis" by Beethoven and "Stabat Mater" by Rossini, "Gloria", "Dixit Diminus" by Vivaldi.




李忠民目前擔任新加坡神學院圣樂學院講師, 教授聲樂与指揮,他是新加坡神學院圣詠團与圣歌團之指揮, 同時兼任新加坡哈利路亞圣樂社,新山圣樂團与印尼耶加達慶典聖樂團,印尼泗水基督教慶典聖樂團的音樂總監 。 他也是國際基督教合唱指揮團,民都鲁华人基督教圣乐促进会与国际基督教庆典圣歌团的藝術總監 。


李忠民早年在新加坡接受音樂訓練,后赴英國進修聲樂与樂隊指揮. 也在美國隨世界著名指揮家 Helmuth Rilling 与 Donald Neuen 學習合唱樂隊指揮。

他指揮歌劇,交響樂隊,更專注神曲之演出, 包括巴哈之《圣馬太受難曲》,《B小調彌撒曲》,貝 多 芬 之《庄 嚴彌撒曲》, 布拉姆斯之《德國安魂曲》, 莫扎特之《C 小調彌撒曲》 和《安魂曲》, 韓德爾之《彌賽亞》, 海頓之《創世記》,孟德爾頌之《圣保羅》, 《以利亞》,《贊美頌》与 羅西尼之《聖母悼歌》等 深獲好評.
